To serve is our purpose, for we are a SERVICE sorority.  But
What is to serve?  Webster describes service as the "rendering
of assistance or aid; helpful activity for the advantage or
welfare of others."  Actually performing our services breathes
life into these dictionary definitions and brings the wonderful
satisfaction of knowing that we have helped to fill a need.

To serve is our responsibility, for we are unique in being a
service sorority.  We have a great deal to give, but we must
give it wisely, that we may find a genuine need for our good
services and thus accomplish the greatest amount of good.

And to serve is our greatest privilege.  Giving cannot
impoverish us, neither can we withholding enrich us.  Rather,
our service projects enlarger our experience and expand our
capacity to give.

We unite in bonds of sisterhood and love to give our services
to the university and the community.
